The third problem is the hard one that I've been unable to solve so far. On all the videos I've tried, youtube is using a new signature method. Previously the code would look for a parameter 'sig=' and in the downloaded video page and turn that into 'signature=' when requesting the video stream.

ok, found the issue. I needed to restart the Squeezebox in order to get the SmartMix menu entry under My Music. When i play a song and then chose one of the recepies, the playlist comes up empty, just like yours.

I run LMS 7.8.0 simply because it's the most recent (nearly a year old now) actual release of LMS. I'm not keen on nightlies, you can't download the same thing again three months later if someone else wants to install it. And there are so many versions of nightlies I don't see how plugin authors
