Forgive me butting in on this thread. On my system I had to set 'flac
header' to yes. Might be worth a try if philippe's suggestions don't
work.
It will be worth it when you find the right combination! I'd strongly
suggest you use either

A mistake which hasn't been noticed because the ecasound
custom-convert.conf file was really an example.
There is an additional space after the "# R" on the second line. The
letter "R" must be the last character on the line. Can you edit the
file on the system and remove the spare space ?
To fix the problem: Open the Settings page, click Advanced, select
Performance, then change "Maximum Playlist Length" from 0 to a larger
positive integer. Click Apply, and SmartMix will work as before.
That sorted it.
Oh, I thought I had released the fix to this problem. Will have to do asap.

No, just local files.

plays past 60 minutes with no ICY metadata set. BBC DASH streams will
also stop when pause is pressed and restart on play, but will not

bakker_be, I just built a couple of VortexBoxes and I copied Prefs from
an older VortexBox which ensured that all my settings and plugins
remained the same. You could try copying Prefs from the Windows box to
the Daphile box. I use FileZilla to transfer stuff from a Win 7 box to
the Vortexbox.

I've been using Smart Mix for a while now, and really like it. One thing
I noticed though, is that when I start a new playlist with a song, it
will pick another song by the same artist immediately to go next, or at
least soon after. Often from the same album even.
If possible I'd like to ask for
My SmartMix plugin has started behaving oddly since I updated it.
I pick a song and it selects 4 more for the playlist from 'don't stop
the music'.
At the end of the track I hear a split second of a song but the playlist
changes to 5 different songs and stops!
Are you using any streaming

Well, well. With dev-3 my M1 CLiC is doing much the same thing as your
