A mistake which hasn't been noticed because the ecasound custom-convert.conf file was really an example. There is an additional space after the "# R" on the second line. The letter "R" must be the last character on the line. Can you edit the file on the system and remove the spare space ?

To fix the problem: Open the Settings page, click Advanced, select Performance, then change "Maximum Playlist Length" from 0 to a larger positive integer. Click Apply, and SmartMix will work as before. That sorted it. Oh, I thought I had released the fix to this problem. Will have to do asap.
