But, almost there ... despite the reset, the stream continues producing
sound. However, the pause fails to have any effect, Same result for
mp3 music files - no pause. Next track works.

Resurrected my Pure One Flow. Plays mp3 live streams fine, but problems
with iplayer aac streams. The stream plays and resets at about 30 secs
back to zero - sound continues to the next 30 sec reset when the sound
disappears.
Here's the current config:

Here's the log when playing iPlayer aac stream:

Just a thought but from the above I assume you've set the ICY metadata
as 'yes'? This
I run my LMS in a Vortexbox machine running Fedora 20.
I installed Chromecast Bridge v.0.1.2.0 as per the included
instructions. No problems there. However, when I tried to create the
necessary config file nothing happened. LMS would not create the file.
To try and circumvent this problem I

sadly - doesn't help.
Still counts to 30 secs - resets - 30 secs -
Same here. I am glad metadata and cover art are back, but automatically
turning the player off and on between songs is kind of annoying. This
behavior is definitely new. When turning the player off it also loses
its volume setting and sets it back to default when the device turns
back on.

Looks like a stream timeout issue. Try to increase the

LMS 7.7.5 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2. Sonos 2xPLAY:1,
PLAY:3, PLAY:5,
Chromecast devices are more civilized that UPnP so you don't even have
to tweak the config file. Even w/o a config, it should work. If the
device does not appear in LMS, then it is not detected in the vortexbox
computer. Very likely a firewall issue.
