As it just do "one thing" (connected speaker), but if you want the LMS
functionality - it's not a good alternative ;) - It was an answer to
the "I want a Spotify speaker" - So it

Thanks. This will be useful. I also need to know what volume level the
Quick Select 1 command sets your AVP to. It is part of the Quick Select
definition in the AVP.

I could be wrong, but I believe that if you just type the link in to the

message. I try to keep my links names very short and I have typed the
link wrong. If someone else is as dumb as I am..

I really like the M plugin too. I have noticed a little odd behavior
with it. I have to do a complete scan twice in order for the artists
pictures to come up under the right artists. I do a complete scan and
then a second clear and complete scan.

IO::Socket::SSL is not part of LMS, but of the operating system, or in
the case of Synology of the Perl package. Unfortunately I believe

Well... what the error message says: most likely LMS doesn't have write

Hello
I am a very happy user of the Music & Artist Info plugin (currently

You still have the wrong settings and that log is not usable. Please set
the "Additional debugging" to none and apply. Then click on "clean" to
erase the log. Play a track and send me that log. Looking your other

I installed LAME on the PCP thats runs LMS and use It as Bitrate
limiting for the Sonos and the Marantz AVR.
Everithing is working now, maybe not at the best Audi quality, but
working.
Today I am going to receive an Argon case for the the final touch to
RPI4/LMS.

I'll let you know. Building the library will only be needed if testing
with 7.* on Linux goes OK.

I kept the VM I used to build the SSL updates for windows.
If you decide to move forward with the project, I will try building an
AnyEvent 7.x perl package.

Just installed and it works like a charm. Much easier set up! Thanks
very much.
FYI - I had to do it twice. The 1st time, I didn't start the install
from pi/home and when I restarted Max2Play it didn't work anymore.

I believe it's the version of IO::Socket::SSL that's important. (You
can see what version you have in settings->information on Logitech Media
Server )
So if you can find information/help on getting that

If you just want a "Spotify Speaker" there are better solutions than
using PiCore... (If you don't want LMS ui)...
This might be a alternative? : 'BalenaSoundOS'

Hello Philippe,
First of all I want to say I wasn't being rude yesterday. I am trying

When I use the Spotify app to control Spotty I find playback starts
