I'm glad to hear you got
The daemon is mostly dbus callbacks, so the only way for it to generate
CPU usage is for bluetooth to generate events.. and the events are
logged. There is nothing abnormal in your log.
Please take a screenshot with htop running showing what each process is
using.

Very little runs on pCP by default. Squeezelite is about it, which
should not use DNS. If you are actively using the pCP web interface,
then there are some internet checks.
So we need to know what you have installed, and what scripts you run.

Hello,
have successfully the piCorePlayer with multiple instances for Multiroom
in operation, however the pCP spams my pihole with several DNS requests
per second.
Anyone have an idea how I can fix this?
PS: I want to stay with the hostname and not connect the LMS via IP.
Hello Ralphy,
thank you very much for your support. This is great! I use the 32 bit
and also the 64 bit version because I have different Raspberrys.
Basically the 64 bit version would help me. Greetings Lemen

Hi
Curtesy of Black Friday I took the plunge and purchased a couple of
Echos (Studio and Dot). I set up the system before the devices arrived
and carried out some testing via the Alex App. This helped to introduce
me to the process but there are some limitations.
I have activated both devices
I don't use shairport-sync anymore so I haven't been following new
development for a while.
I'll see if I can easily build an updated extension for picoreplayer.
Are you using the 32 or 64 bit version of picoreplayer?
