it every startup. When you cloned the settings, it probably copied the preferences file for softsqueeze in your user account. Yup, I found it: /Users/username/.java/.userPrefs/org/titmuss/softsqueeze/prefs.xml Delete this file on the laptop, and it should work again. -- SuperQ

be tuned to run at lower speeds, which can reduce their power usage to 15-20 watts. Especialy with the LCD turned off. It would require a minor ammount of tweaking to do things like not go into sleep mode with the lid closed, but that's easy. -- SuperQ
