As a test, I set up a clean install of LMS 8.1.2 nightly with Mixcloud.
Didn't change any default settings. No personal auth id. Some MP4
tracks without issue to both DAC32 and to a Radio
So FileType MPEG-4 is all default i.e. Native, faad/flac, faad/lame and
faad.
For streams that plays OK

When I try to play the URL through LMS 8.2 for testing with AAC native
disabled but because of https I think some native players such as Radio
/ TOuch cannot handle https so atiev dsiablke is irrelevant.
It looks like the mixclound plugin cannot process a mixcloud audio file
from dlmixcloud.com (i.e. https://www.dlmixcloud.com/ajax.php ). The
URL in the log has the following JSON data which I think says the audio
is available in HLS/fMP4 or DASH formats - no MP3 or plain MP4.

This is a bug that should be reported as playMP4 is only intended for
7.9.* before MP4 was implemented as part of LMS.

Alarms are always played at the set alarm volume level - so no effect if
the previous alarm the volume was turned down.

My observations: 1.8 is old - so whereever you are getting the
Squeezlite - stop using and find
With Tidal you may come across 8.0.0 shortcomings so perhaps it is time
to start thinking about a Pi for LMS and files staying on Synology as it
seems to be the well trodden path for Synology users.
In the meantime, if you need sox - you could send a PM to Ralphy - he

For Tidal, I think you should update to 8.1.* - when 8.0.0 was
released, it was quickly updated as it had bugs. 8.1.* had even more

Ignore the visualisation for the moment - it is driven from the data
stream from LMS.
No audio output is an issue with the output device. If as a result of
Pulseaudio or something else, some other application has access to
audio output device - it can kill output from Squeezelite to same

Not clear what that update is. OS Update could change changed output
devices - if it is a big version change to Buster - you may now have
Pulseaudio.

usage between workg and not working when something happened (e.g. OS
