but if this means we now have official
support then that's a very good thing!

fjhuerta, I'm using the same versions as you without problems.
Is this still happening? I can confirm XM sometimes goes down for me,
but its always a problem with xm and comes back. Does logging into
their web interface from a browser directly work for you?

Agree also - this plugin is actually the primary reason I use
squeezeboxes!

with SuperDateTime. I thought at the time
because I was upgrading instead of a clean install from 7.3.x. I ended
up uninstalling it and will look at it more later, but to me it seems
more like a bad-state problem in squuezebox server than a problem with
the plugins.

Jeff, I'd not want to look a gift horse in the mouth, so I feel a
little silly bringing it up - I'd MUCH rather have xm on one box without
sync than none!

I had the same problem on windows, updating from 7.3.x. I had to
disable for now. I uninstalled and confirmed there were no hanging
files around in the plugin directory. If anyone has any solutions let
us know.

a real plugin ecosystem, they'd
focus more on having some stable apis that wouldn't break all the old
plugins on every point release.

Just to confirm - you are able to access your subscription from a home
computer going through xmradio.com? Also, you have the premium radio
subscription from them and can switch to high def listening on
xmradio.com?

Finally, this looks like a major rewrite/upgrade, thanks Neil! Let us
know how we can start contributing to the pot several of us promised.

convenient, and no limitations in the number of favs you can have,
unlike presets. I've already made a bunch in an XM subfolder and will
be listening to them all tomorrow.
Anyway, thanks again Neil!

fjhuerta - yes, on 7.2.1, as long as you have access to the 128 stream
with your online account and you choose the high stream setting in the
plugin, it will be 128kbps, or at least it is for me.

I'll also add $25 to the pot. I took a quick look and it would take me
several hours to even figure out where to start, with no plugin
experience.

, and I'm able to log in with the xm
plugin. Right now I see (and hear) it going at 128kbps.
Sweet!!!

the changeover - worst case and I have to start coding,
I think it would be silly to start until after they've done whatever
they're going to do to their feeds in mid-March.

Very good point, I guess we'll have to wait and see. I saw your earlier
thread and was hoping someone (official) would reply.
As is, its mildly annoying that I'm stuck running 7.2.1 to get XM.
However, if we're locked out completely in March that will be pretty
sad.
