The problem is not the codec.
Somehow the stream starts paused. It sends a starting header but then
only empty frames.
If I move the position within the stream (you can reproduce this with
the time slider) the plugin starts to send actual music and iPeng plays
it.

iPeng doesnt support WMA natively (Microsoft wants expensive licenses
for that) so the server needs to transcode it - this is what fails here.
It should not, though. Ive used several RPi setups
Depends on your OS/Platform but the server not having the necessary
writing permissions is usually the reason.
Another one would be a wrong playlist folder path but then you wouldnt
see existing playlists, too.
And then of course that disk could be full...

Indeed. The shuffle button shows this when Random Mix is on. If you tap
it, Random Mix will be turned off.
You can also START a Random Mix by hold-ing the shuffle button

No, I just missed it.
It came up a few times and I actually forgot why I didn't yet enable it,
there was some reason (I have alphabetical sorting enabled but
deactivated in the code). Will have to look into it again when I
