The problem is that the library setting is a per-player setting applied
on the server side, it's not something that applies to a single
controller.
If your wife changes the setting for that player, iPeng will get that
change, too, and use it.

I have an iPad 2 running iOS 9 and it works but it's not too great.
I can't really compare it to 8, though, that device was my iOS 6 test
device for a long time and only ran on 8 for a few weeks. I didn't
really notice a performance difference between 8 and 9 but that might be

mini 2 is essentially and iPad Air, mini 3 is an iPad Air with touchID,

Do you use a jailbreak or have you enabled any of the accessibility
options?
It sounds like for some reason iPeng can't load some views but I'm not
really seeing crash reports for this. Will have to look a bit deeper,
there aren't too many iOS 8
OK, it's indeed a known issue in 8.0.
I'm going to switch to the system font (instead of the new custom font)
for iOS 8.0 in the next update, that should fix the issues.
