Squeezelite will then only resample when the output device doesn't

Then you need to delete the .jivelite directory. It's located at

Backup your picoreplayer config, if you're using pcp.

I think it was ralphy who lowered the top end down to 30.
Yes that was me. I have since lowered the end down to 15 as my player
adds positive dB causing the signal to clip.

Squeezeplay is one single scrollable list (by artist, album, etc.) and
is pretty fast.
You can also use the number keys 2-9 to navigate even quicker.
For example press 3 - jump to beginning of D, press 3 again jump to E,
again F, again 3, like texting on an old phone.

You must add
SDL_FBDEV=/dev/fb1
to /opt/squeezeplay/bin/squeezeplay.sh script and run squeezeplay.sh not
jive directly for the libraries to be found.

either the tar file or package, backing up any changes first.
There is also jivelite and squeezelite that you can try if you can't get
squeezeplay working.

The segmentation fault could be from the new skin as I've been using
squeezeplay on my rpi all morning without issue.
I believe jivelite and squeezeplay have different initialization
requirements for skins.

Not sure if Squeezeplug will have the processing power necessary to
compress WAV stream into Flac - you may need to stream in WAV.
I does work with 7.8.1.
I had to install the icedax package and create a cdda2wav symlink to the
icedax binary for debian.

I'd suggest asking for help with this part of your setup on a QNAP
