Well I'll probably never get it completely worked out. The SBB seems

Hi all,
Just got my first Squeezebox, a Boom. I've been a long time JRMC user
and I love the program, but I wanted a device to use where I don't
have a TV or PC running so I got the Boom. FWIW, the Boom is replacing
a Roku Soundbridge that was pulling from JRMC's UPnP server.

Hope you are enjoying your Boom! To get your JRMC ratings into
SqueezeCenter, you will need Erland's Custom Scan plugin. Then go into
the settings for Custom Scan and enable the Rating Tag module.
Mine is set like this (but I use MP3 - not sure if it makes a
difference):

the songs go in the zapped songs list) just as easily as I could learn
your suggested method, so I might as well save you the work, right?

FWIW, I just posted PlayLog 7a24, which adds both ContextMenu support
for Log and skip and the option to download a PlayLog file as M3U.
Having done so it occurred to me that zapped songs probably has a
playlist that's easier for you, since it creates/updates a file right
there on your server,

Just out of interest, how do you decide which rating to set in JRMC ?
Are you just skipping tracks which should get low

Erland: Here's some background. The vast majority of of my music is
already rated, and my rating system goes like this:
5 - Most loved songs.
4 - Favorites.
3 - Like it enough to hear in mixes.

I wondered about PlayLog, but it didn't sound like it would do that. Me?
Build a plugin? I don't think so
The zapped playlist could work. I am just not in the habit of skipping
songs that way and would have to train myself to use the add button
instead of skip.

I played around with 'playlist index +1' a bit today, and that's no
good.
I'm curious -- why would you want a log of skipped songs?
