It's been a while since I've looked at this thread or listened to this
channel, I'm curious, if you subscribe to the premium plus service,
which features are currently available on squeezebox devices?
- x5 FLAC channels (do you get 5 unique URLs to add as favourites)?
- meta data/album covers
Any news on album art in the streams?
I never get any and they told me: "On some devices album art shows up,
others don't." Hmm, which devices?
Artist and title are no longer reversed, they fixed it some time ago.

I guess they've changed some things since you set up your account awhile
back and when mine was set up last week.
I sent them an email asking about metadata and a couple of other things,
and they are apparently just devoting their dev resources to getting
their new iOS app done.
I received a different expanded url for the streams when I started:
hxxps://audio-edge-8em5d.yyz.d.radiomast.io/d0105650-c51c-4842-ae39-f97b329acd2a?token=xxx
not:
hxxps://streams.radiomast.io/d0105650-c51c-4842-ae39-f97b329acd2a?no-icy-metadata=1token=xxx
That's why I got metatdata. But
Wow, this will make my wife very happy.
Jazz Groove is one of her favorites, but the max stream message got her
down.

Hi,
I have a premium plus membership but I'm not seeing any metadata
(artist, title, album, year) displayed when I play my customized stream
URLs. Are other people seeing this data? If so, how?

There is no album artwork at any stream at the moment, still beta. I
asked them and they said may change later.

Is it the same audio on all variants of the stream?
If yes - how do they insert the adverts?
E.g. cut off last X seconds of the track

It took me 15 minutes to get the stream again, now with a paid
subscription and without ads.
Made an account, paid the donation via Paypal, waited 5 minutes for the
donation to show up in My Account. Now I had a premium plan where you

No problem in the past, what is this?
They also told me to go to jazzgroove.org\squeezebox when I want to
listen to their stream with my squeezeboxes. Yes, I want, but that link

Thanks folks. I pestered them via email until I finally got a response
asking if I could wait a while and they'd get back to me...then I forgot
about it. They are missing out on a loyal revenue stream and they really
do have a fantastic Jazz library.

Sometime writing a plugin is the easy bit. The service is never static.
To keep plugin going requires a commitment of time for many years.

How hard is it to rid a bike? Depends on where you want to go, and what
bike you have to get there. You can write a Hello World plugin within an
hour. But a music service which doesn't provide an API nor documentation
can be anything from a few hours to
It all depends how Jazz Groove have decided to implement it.
Someone with access to a premium account would have to look at what
happens in the interaction between the browser and the streaming service
and then try to emulate it ... and provide the audio data to the SB
player.
A bit like what

So anyone have any ideas how to pass user name/login via JazzGroove?
This can't be that hard, if the browser can play hi Rez after logging
in, surely SBT can be configured to pass that info as well can't it?
Really jonesing for this one.
