I've increased the refresh time from 5 to 10 minutes and I think it's updating more successfully now. I tend to agree, I think they've introduced some form of anti abuse system on the site. If this is the case it might be worth considering different update frequencies for weather vs. sports.

Ugh, this is a biggie for me. In the uncertain state of Squeezebox at this point, breaking Superdatetime has been one of my biggest fears, since the rest is really self contained. I don't suppose you're up for taking ownership of another plugin are you peterw? :/ -- sander

Me too, I however just upgraded to the new version just announced. It did work a short while after the upgrade, maybe just bad timing. Since we have 3 Booms and this is the only weather plugin that display ok on the narrow display of the Boom its a major problem. The whole family rely on it...

It's definitely due to changes at weather.com. I have a modified version of SDT 5.5.1 (from April 2008 -- see http://www.gregbrown.net/squeeze/superdatetime.htm to get an idea what's missing from this version) that I believe will pull *current* weather conditions -- that's all that I really use
