OK, turns out the default skin does not use the index function (which should do just this) but a button emulation. Will change over to that behavior in the next iPeng version. I consider this a bug of SC but as long as the workaround works I'm fine with it. But please be patient until July

Hi, One of the media streaming devices I am using is the Hauppauge MVP, not with the original software, but with mvpmc (http://www.mvpmc.org/). This comes with mclient, which is a slimserver client. So using ipeng, I can control this mclient. But when I try skipping songs, there is a delay of

This is weired. iPeng uses the same method to skip as the default web skin (the cli) and it also only updates it's display after the server has reacted. Also the fact that your player shows the updated result means that tge comand should have gone through. I would have guessed it's a buffering
