I'm trying to install the new version of the plug-in but it won't
install. Server keeps reporting new plugin available. Now going to try
the usual (reboot machine etc.) It's running on WHS / Server Version:
7.6.1 - r33110.
Will report if it worked. Anyone else having similar troubles?

Well it didn't and somehow did. Meaning... it has automagically
installed and is working great. But what it did to fix itself, who

OK, I have a basic question here that I hope isn't too obvious, but I
don't really understand how all this stuff works together:
I've been using custom clock for a few weeks. I noticed that the
weather conditions on the display don't update unless squeezebox server
on my pc is up and running -
I can agree to this - CB has become very slow with SBS 7.6.1.
SBS Windows Home Server edition.
If improvements to sped can be made in the future, they will for sure
be most welcome:-)

The plugin should work on 7.5 but I am not sure that all the context
menus

After recently discovering MusicIP which is working fine I'm intreagued
by the Sugarcube for the thought a pick a track and away you go
mixes.
I've donated and have the install parameters which installs v3.02 which
as I understand it is fine for my 7.6.1 squeezecentre and SQLite.

It appears that New Music browse mode has dissapeared from iPeng (connecting
to SBS 7.5.6). I previously had it configured to appear as one of the four
buttons on the bottom of the browse screeen, but since upgrading to latest
version it's dissapeared, and doesn't appear on the More screen or
VLC 1.1.9 on Ubuntu doesn't play the rtsp stream.
Have you checked under Tools / Media and Codec information regarding
what is format the stream it ? If it is a Microsoft protocol then VLC
may be using libraries which are only available under Windows.
The playreal plugin is for playing

Lots of other stuff was missing too, now I think about it. It was connected to
my SBS 7.5 server instance, not 7.6, and Browse Artists was returning the
correct content, so it was connected okay.
VLC in Win 7 plays this and reports it's an mpga 1/2/3 stream - mono.

Good stuff ! Now you can start tweeking the parameters to get the
mixing to your taste. I find the live view in the GUI very helpful, the
number of tracks shown is set in the MIP
lots of things missing usually means that the players' menu was not
loaded.
If you've got more than one you can fix it by switching to another
player, if you don't, leaving iPeng and returning usually helps.
It's a server issue (I have seen it on my touch, too) but I believe the
next iPeng
