Is anyone clearer than me what the import of the upcoming "Schedule and
Format Changes" to BBC R4 Extra? The Beeb are saying that this week it
will become Non-Broadcast and Non-Linear, but will still be accessible
via BBS Sounds. I'm wondering is "Non-Linear" means that it won't
simply stream
For me, I have 2 favourites that work, but attempts to access anything
from the BBC Sounds root all get the API not found error.

If you're saying you do use the direct play button on the PC browser
I was getting the same problem yesterday but I also had significant
issues all weekend with my broadband connection. Downwards direction was
generally good but upwards was terrible.
Today broadband was fixed and BBC Sounds plugin working without issues -
including browsing menus.

there is a "plugins.bbcsounds" option. Set that to debug

Actually I wanted to attach a picture -which unfortunately did not work-
then it would have become clear which DNS queries it is about.

Normally swipe left and right in a list are for deleting or selecting or
moving or something like that entries, not for playing. I think this
will be not so good.

Use an IP address not hostname for the link to LMS ... however, the
player should autodiscover LMS and the field is not needed.
If you have a complicated LAN set-up then that discovery might not work
... in which case you need it ... but to a fixed IP address not a
hostname.

Some PBS shows and lots of music shows - the ones I have heard seem to
be DJ-lead indie-ish - plus automated overnight.
Sometimes there is no song info - check their web site first to see if
they are
I am at zip 37830. No matter what I enter in the setting (37830:0:US,
37830:US, 37830:1:US) it reverts to Chicago as soon as I leave the page.

Yes, I went through signout/signin, and normal service was resumed.

or in connect mode, unusable, each time I have to reboot, disconnect,
try with or without "jeton application not valid", really not friendly

The correct format for a weather station identifier based on a US postal
zip code is 37830*:4:*US.
