There's no way of changing the tags that SlimScrobbler uses to generate submissions. (It seems like quite a good idea for the future though). However you can set MusicBrainz tags on your tracks. If they exist they will be submitted to LastFM and will override all other tags, so the tracks should

The interface works fine for me in Firefox 2 - that's what I use all the time. I just tried using the similar artists box while playing and I can select, enter text and submit fine. Obviously some times it will happen to refresh while you're trying to use it, but that's unavoidable if you want
