Hmmm I think last time this came up it was down to a date format issue. If this is the issue, something seems to have changed in OS X so it is *much* more strict about what strings it will parse as dates.
I had been corresponding with someone via email and working on a fix (it's very tricky as I don't have a mac). I will see if I can find the modified version for you - I hadn't released this as there hadn't been any public reports of issues. In the meantime I would suggest turning on the Mac::AppleScript::Glue debugging to get the Applescript it's issueing, then playing around with this manually to see if you can get it to work.
