the Net connection being lost once a day for a few minutes; I actually
think it's the ISP reseting the fiber modem for service reasons.

Once the Net connection returns, and my devices come back
Ideally, what I would expect to happen is, the bridging plug-in does a
network scan upon restart to detect any Chromecast on the network and
its new/changed IP.
The MAC obviously stays the same.

I'm having the same problem, and the most recent updates over the last
24 hours are unable to discover my DLNA network player as well...

Since this latest round of updates my dlna player is no longer visible
to LMS, and it was as of yesterday.

I'm running the Material Skin Android app on a tablet running Android
6.0 and it doesn't allow me to change the order of the homescreen menu
items via drop and drag. This isn't an issue on my newer Android mobile
running Android 10.
So, my question is where are the preferences stored
