Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Sorting out last.fm tags

So MusicBrains tags will not change SlimServer behaviour at all? That's cool then, if so. Does it make any difference which MB tagger I use? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Sorting out last.fm tags
MB taggers will overwrite your existing artist tags, though. (Although they will also add an ArtistSort tag, so artists will sort exactly the same as before, but they will display differently unless you go back and change the artist.) -- snarlydwarf snarlydwarf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1179 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33288 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Sorting out last.fm tags
There's no way of changing the tags that SlimScrobbler uses to generate submissions. (It seems like quite a good idea for the future though). However you can set MusicBrainz tags on your tracks. If they exist they will be submitted to LastFM and will override all other tags, so the tracks should be recorded correctly.
