**intermittent** 404 Not Found on many pages with Internet Explorer only
I suspect it has someting to do with the page names mades of digits
only, as there are no 404 errors for other groups using page names
containing letters.

hi there
1st time poster to this list (!)
was wondering if i could ask a question about the Cookbook code for
'EditMore'?
so far it's proving pretty useful for creating tags automatically -
the problem i'm running into is that it's not letting me fully remove
or change the tags i create.
I updated fox.php with a long overdue change for the page location
of FoxConfig (if used) from $Site group to $SiteAdmin group.
If you use a $Site.FoxConfig page a message will be displayed
to move the page to the $SiteAdmin group.
Download fox.php from http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Cookbook/Fox
Hans,
I haven't tried using the cancelredirect feature yet. But I did try
using the new version of fox. My add form worked. But my section
edit form is now taking me to a different page. Perhaps Foxedit (and
foxdelete?) need to be updated too?

I think I found the problem, and it might be related to a tricky (?)
use of PmWiki.
When PmWiki is requested to display the page MyGroup.MyPage, and
MyPage is not present, but MyGroup.GroupHeader exists, then having
I uploaded a modified version of the DataPlates recipe, which works
alongside DataQuery as a front end for using databases with PmWiki.
This new version allows both Fox or ZAP as a form processor. The
form templates are generated automatically adjusted to use Fox or

Hi again
so, is there any way around this problem?:
- Group.Page1 has a [[!CategoryLink]] on it
- Group.Page2 (:includes Page1:) (and the [[!CategoryLink]] along
with it)
when I go to Category.CategoryLink (with the CategoryFooter set to
spit out the default pagelist command), it only
Hi there,
I would like to know whether there is a specific method to list all groups
of a pmwiki site? So far, I am using (:pagelist name=RecentChanges:) but I
am wondering whether there is a more elegant and efficient method?
Kind regards,
Benoit

This works great, and PmWiki processes everything as expected EXCEPT
that because MyGroup.MyPage does not exist, it returns 404 (pmwiki.php

Hi Folks,
I simply wish to add an invisible stat counter block of code about 6
lines in total, mostly of javascript, to every page that is developed. I
wish to track visitors. I've been looking through the installation and I
can't seem to find a place to do this, even after scanning over

Hi Hans,
Thanks for that. Actually, I had seen that option on the pagelist
documentation but I would like to configure the template myself, i.e.
(:pagelist fmt=#mygrouptemplate :)
Do you know how this can be efficiently done?
Kind regards,
Benoit

So, I think the current approach is the correct one -- if the page
doesn't exist, return a 404 Not Found code. For pseudo pages
that should actually be treated as existing even though they don't,
the correct solution is to do a local customization of
$PageNotFoundHeaderFmt .
OK, fair
A quick test now seems to work. Cancelredirect worked too.
Hans, I think you've just made Fox a better form processor. I had
forgotten about the ability to use Cancel redirection to Clear form.
I'm using it already! Thank you for adding it.

Great idea, done!
music.php1.2 now supports flac and vorbis outputs

Hi folks, I need a little help.
On my site, after a search, both the AllGroupHeader and GroupHeader do
not appear on any page with a (:searchresults:) directive. What might
be causing this behavior? The site is running on pmwiki-2.2.0-beta63.
To see an example try a simple search at:
I'm trying to get pmwiki working, and frankly it's making me want to pull my

hi hans
Is it somehow possible to make custom ptv which supports all
wikimarkup but is invisible? Something like:
[[#!Text]]
[[#!Text]]
I would like to have all formdata invisible, so I can make a full
templated page. For specify the layout I use an include:
Wikipage - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Hi Allison,
Welcome to the PmWiki community!
That does seem very odd that you can't edit pmwiki.org pages. I don't
have a clue what could cause that.
Maybe someone experienced with PmWiki installation could help you if
you describe your situation in more detail. The more info, the better.

Noskule,
I believe you can accomplish what you want without use of a PV in this case.
If you need PV for some reason I'm not understanding then this solution will
not work...
Explanation: (:include ...:) supports sections and ignores conditional
markup.
