also necessary for multi-line (dot matches newline). Thus /es or /se should
do what you need.

Sounds to me that your web server doesn't have PHP installed properly.

If you put this on a php file it should give all the info about your
PHP setup. Not sure whether it will tell us about this issue, which

solved half of this quicktime issue:
the example on the quicktime page worked:
(:quicktime Attach:myfile.ext arg1=someting arg2=something:)
but when i tried to add in an external URL, this didn't:

i just realized how to embed a flashfile uploaded to one group onto a
page in another group on the same site (answering question #3) - the
key is using an absolute URL:
works if flashfile is uploaded to the same group
(:flash Attach:flashfile.swf width=150 height=100:)
