In so far as procedure is concerned, Israel is clearly a democracy, one
which began as far back as 1897 with the first Zionist Congress. The nucleus of
its population consists of the same 650,000 Jews who settled in Israel in the
pre-independence period and who have gone through the school
I have been to Israel 3 times. In 1968 to celebrate my son's Bar
Mitzvah. In 1972 with a women's group. We stayed mostly at
Kibbutzim...and finally in 1995 with my husband. We travelled freely.
Visited businesses owned by Arabs Jews. I loved the climate, just like
California with snow capped
