Looks good to me. Hopefully, this is how Pod::Simple worked before I changed
it to escape everything. If so, it should be as simple as applying this patch:

I think I'd rather pull in that commit and have you and Madsen verify that
it's compliance with the new wording of the spec *before* I release it. Seem
reasonable?
