to the right. In particular, an exterior ring is clockwise and
interior rings are counter clockwise. PostGIS even has a forceRHR for
polygons ... but like I said, I don't think it really matters.

that is an invalide geometery?

I am having a really hard time getting going with PostGIS on Windows. I read
the documentation but it is mostly written for *nix users, and I have
trouble translating the instructions into something I can do on WIndows (XP
SP2).
One particular issue I am up against now is figuring out how to
