I run pulseaudio 0.9.14 with KDE 4.3 RC2. So far it runs fine. I just wonder,
would I benefit from a soundcard with hardware mixer? I could get a cheap
Audigy 2 ZS.
When I run Skype and listen to MP3 radio stream, the MP3 stream is fine, but
Skype often is a bit stumbling.

Ok, and in pavucontrol I've set system sounds to 50% loudness. But system
sound is still much louder than e.g. MP3 playback which has 85% loudness! How
can that be? Is Phonon

I've got two soundcards, one USB headset, one internal soundcard.
Some applications play sound out of the headset (totem), and some
output to the internal soundcard. How can I get them all to output to
the internal soundcard?
