hi,
finally getting around to trying out 1.5 and there seems to be a
problem with the swiki browser.
when i try to save an edit on actions or addresses, it can't resolve
the reference to, for example, book and asks if i want to create a
temp or instance variable, which i'm pretty sure i
Indeed. This problem has been around for a while. You need both the image
and the changes file in order to use the swiki browser. Use the sources

Get a clean 3.7 image/changes and use the sources and you should be fine.

yeah, i thought it was probably that given you note about needing the
sources to do any development--just wasn't sure if that included
using SwikiBrowser.
i was upgrading from 1.3 and it was working there, so was wanting to
make sure i hadn't done something wrong in the process.

programming. In the SwikiBrowser, check out
refs :: actions (page) :: forms / schemes :: editText1
refs :: actions (page) :: forms / schemes :: showText1
You'd just need to create ones for the higher numbers. Honestly, that

I found that this works great with the classic Refs swikis, but for some
reason the change appeared to keep AniWebs from saving. Changes would be
cached in memory, but new pages could not be edited and the pages were not
created. I'll look into this some more.
