PyMOLers,

I have been asked to pass along a message from DelSci concerning
support and the future of PyMOL.

""""
Friends and Supporters of PyMOL:

Thank you for your support during this very tough time. The outpouring
of emotion and support from the community mirrors the depth of
Warren's passion for PyMOL, open-source, and enabling smart people to
do smart things (his words).

We firmly believe that Warren would want PyMOL to grow and mature--it
was his life's work. We want to reassure you that DeLano Scientific
still exists, and that we are committed to this goal. Warren had a
small group of developers who have been contacted and who are helping
us to work through the present circumstances and ensure PyMOL’s
future. In the meantime, we are still providing paid subscribers with
access to support, documentation, and current builds. The community
at large still has access to the mailing list and PyMOLWiki.

While there will be hiccups along the way, we again wanted to reassure
you that we are here, we are working, and we look forward to PyMOL
growing into the software that Warren knew it could be.

Sincerely,
Beth Pehrson (Warren’s wife)
DeLano Scientific LLC
