Roger, CMYK and RGB are non-equivalent, and there will always be some mangling like what you describe. The CMYK color mode in PyMOL is an attempt to constrain PyMOL to using the a subset of RGB values that can be mapped reliably into the CMYK color space, at least via Photoshop. It's not a
