It'd be inclined to agree with Richard that it's a proxy issue. Your
web-browsers are almost certainly pre-configured to use the proxy. If you
look at their settings they'll have the proxy settings in them.

Hi Conrad,
Nice to get some real field experience coming through in your reply.
Franson GPSgate is what I had stumbled upon too, but then my wife stole
my laptop to go up country to run a 3 day course, so it will be Friday

Dear All,
I am wondering if it is possible to use, in the raster calculator,
different mathematical functions in that the defined in the raster calc GUI.
By example, using my layer GDD (just positive values) I try this:
exp(GDD@1) but I obtained just NaN values in the result layer, the

I had exactly the same problem with the standalone installer for Windows
64bit. I had other problems with the OSgeo4W installer but I have now got
the grass commands working in the processing toolbox after installing using
the OSGeo4W Network 64bit installer.
The dev version didn't work for me
Thanks Steven, unfortunately the Network version isn't an option for me;
has to be the stand-alone one.
Does anyone know if this is being addressed in the new build(s) that are
being created to resolve the other issues?

Hi Sergio:
Interesting question.
You can create a raster layer with a fix value per cell, then make the
function you want. For example, in raster calculator:
1. *(GDD@10 or GDD@1=0)*2* gets a raster layer with value 2 per cell
(let's put name =value2).
2. *value2^GDD@1* must be a layer with
I have the same problem at work, due to security restrictions I can't
download the files.
Think there was an option under advanced to download files though. If I get
chance I will try and report back.
Hoping I can download install files then transfer and install on the
restricted machine.

I am unable to get a log() function to work? I assume there is such a thing

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Ramon,
Thanks for the clarification.
But given that, shouldn't they be radio buttons, not checkboxes? They
certainly sound mutually exclusive.
Yes, I fixed that in master.
