is there a way to assign a specified google earth icon to points in a shapefile
while saving a SHAPEFILE to kml?
I mean: can I assign a column in a table that google earth can read as icon?

Hello, is there a way to save the text annotations on a layer (to switch them
on and off) or to create text annotations in a layout?
I do not like to delete text annotations every time I don't want to print them!

If I create a qgis project, I create some layers using grass plugins, I save
and I send the qgis project+the location folder to a colegue of mine, the qgis
project crashes.
If I delete the grass layers from teh qgis project, the project is correctly
loaded on my colegue's pc.
Is there a
to gdal 1.9.1.

I would like to reproject a nasa SRTM 90m Digital Elevation Data (crs 4326) to
crs 3003.
I need square cells and not angular ones.
I create a (working) 4326 location and I load in a mapset the SRTM DEM.
I load the strm dem in the qgis layout.

So, today my colleague had the bad allocation again.
So we tried to re-create the same project with qgis 1.6 and she printed her map
correctly.
then she tried to use again the 1.7.4 and she got again the bad allocation pop
out
so we tried to recreate the project from zero. and we realized

I work on a qgis project with a colleague of mine. We created many layers with
grass routines.
If I save the project on my PC and she opens it, all the grass created layers
refer to path that is on my PC (I work on a disk named s:\, she work, she works
