Re: [ql-users] Enhanced Pop
The Hinting article was excellent. Thank you very much for that. I hope to use hinting in my programs next year, now that I know how to! Where hinting excells is in programs which make heavy use of icons (e.g. QD) which you don't use often enough to get to know what they do. Rest the pointer over the icon for a little while and the 'help' bubble (or 'hint') magically appears to tell you in *words* what that icon does. -- Dilwyn Jones - Original Message - From: P Witte [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sunday, December 25, 2005 10:04 AM Subject: [ql-users] Enhanced Pop In the unlikely event that anyone was hoping to download the slightly more enhanced version of Pop (as advertised in my recent QLT article on Hinting from S*Basic programs) Im sorry to have to disappoint you: Im not currently able to access my Knoware site to update it. I shall relocate as soon as I can. In the mean time, if you want this routine, please write me directly to obtain a copy by email. Re: [ql-users] Q-Liberator 3.36 under SMSQ/E
In message [EMAIL PROTECTED], Ralf Reköndt [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes Hi Malcolm, meanwhile, I have found out, that QLIB_BIN has changed from 3.22 to 3.36. Mea culpa 8-). It now works ok. I have thought, that just Qlib_obj and its inbuilt ASM extensions have changed (They have in fact changed QLib_obj as the move sprite is now printed with the new routine WM_wmspr (shows the move sprite instead of the MOVE item), a linked-in routine). The readme of 3.36 haven't statet the change of QLIB_BIN in details. Cheers...Ralf R. OK ... you are 'sorted' out then ... :-) - Original Message - From: Malcolm Cadman [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, December 24, 2005 4:26 PM Subject: Re: [ql-users] Q-Liberator 3.36 under SMSQ/E In message [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes Does anybody use Qlib v3.36 successfully under SMSQ/E (QPC2)? I have used version 3.22, which runs ok. Version 3.36 gives a red Qlib error window after execution of Qlib_obj: Index out of range. Is there a patch available? (MK: 3.36 has sedit's config routines 8-)) The Qlib_run v3.36 works fine ... with LRESPR win1_Qlib_run It is needed for FileInfo2 and other programs, so in my boot file I have : LRESPR windrive$ '_FI2_Qlib_run' before LRESPR windrive$ '_FI2_FileInfo2_bin' This is with SMSQ/E 3.6 and QPC 3.30 running on a Windows PC with XP Professional. I also load the Turbo Toolkit with LRESPR windrive$ '_turbo_sms_bin' As well as the environment variable with LRESPR windrive$ '_env_bin' All of these are essential to have present as extensions with the recent software available. -- Malcolm Cadman ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm

Even better news. We have another article from Per coming up in issue 4 on using digital sound in your programs. Please let me know of there are other topics on some of the newer programming possibilities you would like covered. Then I can start twisting a few arms, Best wishes, Geoff - Original Message - From: Dilwyn Jones [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, December 26, 2005 11:15 AM Subject: Re: [ql-users] Enhanced Pop The Hinting article was excellent.
