Ralf, it might be worth trying to run Sidewinder or Page Designer with the QPC_QLSCREMU command - that way if Sidewinder writes to the old QL screen area, QPC will try to copy it to the new screen. You can use parameters like this (-1 or 4 are usually the one to use):
-1 = automatic mode 0 = disable QL screen emulation 4 = force to 4 colour QL screen mode 8 = force to 8 colour QL screen mode (normally used for old QL games which run in mode 8) Obviously it is best to run QPC2 in 4 colour mode to stand the best chance of success with older programs, but even if you run in high colour mode QPC2 will try to do colour conversion for you. -- Dilwyn Jones ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ralf Reköndt" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, March 05, 2006 5:57 PM Subject: [ql-users] SideWinder de Luxe > Does anybody know, if Steve Jones (Zitasoft) is contactable in any > way? > > I have tried "SideWinder de Luxe" in 24pin mode with PD2/3 pages > under > QPCPrint and it works really good (albeit writing into screen's > memory with > preview, ok, it's a bit old ;-)).
