Have sent a couple of docs privately in t91 format for you to try. Unfortunately, even the QL Documentation CD doesn't have Text 87 file format info AFAIK. I seem to remember that one of Geoff Wicks's programs (Style Check?) is able to read text 87 files, might be worth asking Geoff.
