Simply load one of the thousand "is there that toolkit name" extensions
like "ISIT" (Disassembler from DP) or similar and you are happy. Even
Dilwyn has one on his site.

There is also a very old little toolkit from Steve Jones (Sidewinder),
which can put every resident Procedure into an "F_xxx" Function
extension to check, if it is available. I have to look.

George, the question is relevant if you write programs intended for other
people: You cant be sure THEY will load Turbo. However, IMHO, any serious
Tinkerer should load Turbo as a matter of course.

I feel there must be a way to test for TURBO toolkit, any ideas?

In my BOOT I load the TURBO toolkit. So why should I test for it?
If I don’t load it in my BOOT it just is not loaded.

Hi,

Theoretically, a cluster could contain 65536 sectors. So the qxl.win
file could be 65536 x 65536 x 512 bytes big.

Realistically, I wouldn't go over 2 GiB.

NB there is another 65536 limit in the filesystem, that of the number of
clusters a qxl.win drive may have

so, the maximun size of a win file is?

If the pointer is somewhere else, these short keys can not be used. Is it

In either case, how can I do this to use these shortkeys regardless of the

Hi Giorgio,

It is a feature not a bug.

Shortkeys should be 'linked' to a 'Loose object' that allows them to be
useable/available all the time execpt when in 'editing mode'.

If you want to choose something with a press on a key, you should use
dropdown menus or use Jochen's menu extension.

That is how I do it.

In that case I would use the appsub with the lowest number, ignoring the
others.
There is already a similar case: if there are two shortkey in the same
appsub, the first is always considered, ignoring the other.
But of course it's just an idea.

An even more sophisticated thing would be that in case of duplicate
shortkeys they would pass by one to another, but I fully understand that it
would be really complicated to do

Hi,

This isn't fixable - by design.

Don't forget that a window may have several appsub windows, which may
have the same selection keys for their elements (e.g. a filemanager that
would have two file windows). How would you distinguish between them?
So, appsub windows get the keystroke ony if the pointer is over them.

Makes sense to me.
