[Ql-Users] QED v2.01 released!

2018-09-25 Thread Jan Bredenbeek via Ql-Users
 I'm very pleased to present you release 2.01 of QED, my ever popular text
editor!

This release comes exactly 30 years after version 1.01, which has been
included in many QL software distributions.
New features include:

* Support for TK2 Data Default directories
* Editing multiple files simultaneously
* Auto-indenting of lines
* TAB compression and expansion supported
* Raw and cooked LOADing and SAVing of files for CR/LF conversion
* Can be configured for high-resolution screens (the standard configuration
will fit in 512x256 [image: ;)] ).

The HELP file has been updated to include the new commands. There is no
updated manual yet - you can use the Quill document in the 1.01 archive (I
still need to convert it to a more common format).

The .ZIP file containing the binary, help file and configuration program
can be downloaded from my GitHub page
. As usual, the source code
is available from this repository and on the SinclairQL GitHub page.
Maintainers of QL software distributions are encouraged to update their
versions too.

Happy QL'ing,

Jan.
