The RELOC_START entry is in the version of the
startup module that is used if you are using LD v2 with c68. The
RELOC_START is a symbol that is automatically generated by LD
v2.

The precursor to QPC2 :-)
It basically ran directly under DOS rather than under Windows (which meant
it did not like NT based systems), and did not have many of the extras since
introduced in QPC2 (DOS device etc).

Tony,
That is not true - it is possible to get the complete SP as a single file.
The full SP4 for W2K is 129Mb (I know because I have it !). This can then
be applied to any flavour of W2K (workstation, server, advanced server).
I agree if you are online, you can download a setup program that
The other nasty trick for Windows users is to install the screen saver from
www.sysinternals.com that realistically simulates your system crashing and
rebooting! I have seen users hit the reset button before they realised
that simply pressing a key or moving the mouse would get rid of it.

If there really is a need for these extra precision routines to be available
from SB, then maybe it would be worth writing SB wrappers for the maths
support routines used by c68? These include support for IEEE 32,64 and 80
bit, and also for 64 bit integers with add/subtract/multiply/divide
I think the Motorola specification states left to right except as modified
by brackets. In other words multiplication/division does not get priority
over addition/subtraction unless you use brackets.

Bill,
Do you really want a 2.5Gb WIN partition bearing in mind the value after the
device is the size in Mbytes? Have you actually checked you have tht much
free space on the hard disk that you are trying to set up the WIN device on?
No - the WIN files do not expand on use. The format command
EasyC is included on the QPTR Companion disk that is available as an
optional extra for use with c68.

Phoebus,
If you want to put together such a copier, then I have a set of Superbasic
keywords that give low level access to a microdrive at the sector level.
It should not be difficult given those to put together what you want.

What is needed is some way to load toolkits locally to a particular
instance of SBasic rather than as system wide global settings. As to
whether anyone could think of a way to enhance SBasic to achieve this is
another matter.

away the Phillips monitor to any
interested parties at the Byfleet show.
Thanks,

Ken,
I should have a ST520 + Colour Monitor + Mono Monitors to give away at
Byfleet. My brother was clearing his loft and was about to throw them away
and I thought it seemed better to try and find someone who wanted it first.
All I have to do is get around to collecting them from him!
