german customer buying some CF adapters!!
We have solved it - he is paying by money transfer direct into my bank
account using my international bank account number (didn't know there was
such a thing, but there you go!! Just

I have been caught with this paying some one in Germany for an eBay
purchase. I must have found the only German without a credit card and hence
no chance of using Paypal.

This is what I have done - I got my IBAN number from my bank, and the
customer is lodging the funds to it.
I still cannot belive the Eurocheques though, a perfectly good system than
the banks have ruined.

Well it is just as useless. I closed mine. The only cheque in Euros I
sent to Jochen cost him about 25 pounds to cash and took months. The
money left my bank in days though.
