Does partition.exe recognise a slave HD? I'm not sure it does. All I think you need do do is to use the smsq/e HD commands. Set up the CF card as Win2_ or whatever Win number that is appropriate with the WIN_DRIVE command. Set the drive to be formattable with the WIN_FORMAT command and then format
