Ralf, it might be worth trying to run Sidewinder or Page Designer with
the QPC_QLSCREMU command - that way if Sidewinder writes to the old QL
screen area, QPC will try to copy it to the new screen. You can use
parameters like this (-1 or 4 are usually the one to use):
-1 = automatic mode
0 = disable QL screen emulation
4 = force to 4 colour QL screen mode
8 = force to 8 colour QL screen mode (normally used for old QL games
which run in mode 8)
Obviously it is best to run QPC2 in 4 colour mode to stand the best
chance of success with older programs, but even if you run in high
colour mode QPC2 will try to do colour conversion for you.

Subject: [ql-users] SideWinder de Luxe
Does anybody know, if Steve Jones (Zitasoft) is contactable in any
way?
I have tried SideWinder de Luxe in 24pin mode with PD2/3 pages
under
QPCPrint and it works really good (albeit writing into screen's
memory with
preview, ok, it's a bit old ;-)). Would be really good, if the
program could
be developed further.
Cheers...Ralf R.
