check this tonight and post my results. If I'm not successful I think I'll
try extending the current table class to overwrite the _onMousedownHeader
function this way.

I already checked the custom parameter a few days ago when I was trying to
disable the column reordering - but then I somehow didn't find which class
to extend.
I'll be back tonight and report how far I've come with this - thank you!
