Just a stab in the dark here, but there are both PPC and 68K versions of
the laserwriter 8
The various ppc upgrades for Quadra do not list 840av. Does it NOT work
in that model? Any way to use it even if not intended for that machine?- Dick

Maybe the serial ports are midi...
sounds like a capture device (hence digitizer) the RCA would be

Is it possible to upgrade a LC575 to PowerPC? I have a 5260/120 MB, but
it doesn't look like the connectors line up. Thoughts?

If you had an LC580 you'd have a chance. The 575 has a scsi drive, the
580 an IDE, just like the 5260, I think. At any rate, that's likely one
of the reasons
A quadra 650 and it's cousins have a 25mhz processor - the 575 has a 33.
I got a Quadra 800 board and swapped its chip in to the 575 - things

Try jagshouse.com. The page I looked at briefly was:

If that page isn't the whole story, I know I've seen info on that site on
how to get floppies out of your PC that you can use on the 475. One of
the downloaded floppies should contain the disk
Hi - my experience is that you can change units while they are running.
But, it's always been necessary to have the switch set to the machine
which is booting up, so that it'll detect the monitor. After any and all
of them are up and running, you ought to be able to change units at will.

Seems like the best thing would be to hit ebay. A quick search (url
below) came up with a bunch of aaui tranceivers with prices ranging
from 3 to 12 dollars. The aaui tranceiver has a regular 10 base T jack
on the other end of it. - Dick
