I also realised that the second argument must be initialised to 1:n, which is
not mentioned in the documentation. So, if I define
void mysort2i (int *x, int *i, int *n)
{
R_qsort_int_I(x,i,1,*n);
}
Then
> .C("mysort2i",4:1,integer(4),4L)
[[1]]
[1] 1 2 3 4
[[2]]
I get what I initially thought was unexpected behaviour from:
x <- tapply(runif(100), sample(5, 100, TRUE), mean)
solve(Diagonal(5), x)
# Error: not-yet-implemented method for solve(, ).
# ->> Ask the package authors to implement the missing feature.
This is because x is a 1-D array, so the
