Hello,

I am the president of operations at Dymaxium Inc. We are a healthcare
solutions provider for the top pharmaceutical companies all around the
world. One of our clients has asked us to recommend which statistical
packages may be best suited for some of their statistical modeling needs.
We've looked into it and some statisticians have recommended that the R
program may be their best solution.

We do have a couple of technical questions:

- if they want to create an application that could be distributed
to others (to run additional analysis, change inputs, etc), will it be able
to be exported as a distribution version, or run time version that could be
compiled or exported? Would it be self-running and independent or would it
require them to install additional drivers that impacts their windows system
(IT is very concerned about distributed applications and will voice this).

- How flexible is it to then build a front end on top of this
that's completely independent of the application - ie, a web based front end
application or VB application that can interact with the application, and
run the app completely from the front end tool. This would be for users who
only want to change some of the inputs and view limited output. Has it been
done before? What kind of expertise would we need from our end? Is this
well documented or would we have to work with some of your developers
directly?

If you could get back to me ASAP on this, so we can go ahead and make our
recommendations.

Cheers,

Allen
