Hi Steve, I have found the same thing with plot.phylo(). The same effect can be accomplished by the following two commands:
> plot(tree) # tree is your "phylo" object > title("desired title") # "desired title" is what you would normally give to "main" You may have already figured this out, but in case not - I thought I would pass it along. - Liam Liam J.
