Thanks, Drew. I watched the Twitter video; pretty steep even with a 1:1! I looked for a clip of Coppi or Bartali climbing similar cols in their 46 X 19 or whatever low gears were back then (someone told me but I can't find the email now) but couldn't find one in the first 5 minutes, so gave up.
