My wife and I will be riding the lavender tandem through Friday. I may
ride the San Marcos on Saturday, but I will probably ride the Atlantis on
the Guitar Ted Death Ride Invitational, a 100+ mile gravel tour in NE Iowa.
I will keep my eyes peeled for you and your girlfriend.
On Friday, July
I ended up not being able to go this year (would have ridden my LongLow),
but my friends who did go told me of their close encounter with an orange
Hillborne, which they were very taken by . . . -- Forrest (Iowa City)

I wore my Rivendell hat proudly, sported my Rivendell PA panniers, a basket,
Noodle bar, leather seat, lugged stem, but alas... did not ride any of my
Rivendells. I packed in a hurry on a Saturday afternoon and left on Sunday
morning. No time to fit my Atlantis with lights.
My plan
I saw a couple of different Rams and an Atlantis which seemed to be
with one of the Rams. Oh... and the Bombadil that I was riding! I was
with the Air Force team and managed to keep up with the guys on 14lb
carbon fiber road bikes more consistently than either they or I
expected. I did get dropped
I saw Rivs everyday. Most of them were Rams, but I also saw a Sam H., Long
Low, Road, and an Atlantis. Every Riv rider that I spoke to had high
praise for their bikes.
I was riding a Soma Double Cross, but I am looking forward to riding my Soma
San Marcos next year.
