Have the person who filed the bug report check for stale files in /tmp of the form: /tmp/rdiff-backup.tmp.* Looking through the log, the failures are only one one machine: ltspserver00 The user should check for the stale files on that computer, on the local computer that controls the process (the computer running rdiff-backup), and the backup server.
