[rdiff-backup-users] --exclude problems

Recently leaped from RH8 to Fedora5 and my working rdiff-backups no longer work. I am running from the fedora5 rpm 1.0.4 Here is a sample command: rdiff-backup --exclude /sys --exclude /data/xpbackup /data/ [EMAIL PROTECTED]::/backup1/data_rdiff yields the following errors: Fatal Error:

Hi Pete, Your backup command line is backing up your /data directory to [EMAIL PROTECTED]::/backup1/data_rdiff Therefore, telling rdiff-backup to exclude the /sys directory is unnecessary (it's not part of the /data directory), and probably not what you want. This is what rdiff-backup is
